Dr.Aditya Sondhi graduated from NLSIU Bangalore in 1998, and made a humble beginning into the world of litigation. His hard work paid dividends when he was designated a Senior Advocate at Karnataka High Court in 2014. He is among the first few NLS graduates to be designated as a Senior. He has recently been appointed as an Additional Advocate-General of Karnataka State. Apart from his courtroom avatar, he is also a Visiting Professor at his alma mater, NLS and teaches Constitutional Law, Company Law, Professional Ethics and Arbitration.
His “confessions,” as he describes the nature of his revelations, shall revolve around the three major transitions in his life. First, his steps into the courtroom just after graduation as a young lawyer. Second, when he was designated as a Senior at the Karnataka High Court in June, 2014. Third, his transition from private practice to being in the shoes of a State Counsel, which came when he was appointed as the Additional Advocate-General of the State of Karnataka in this very year.
He has continued to quench his thirst for knowledge by gaining as much education as possible. He has been awarded a PhD in Political Science by the Mysore University. He earlier did his Masters in Political Science from Bangalore University.
